I joined Hayhow & Co. in 2006 and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2008.
I currently maintain a large client portfolio covering all types of businesses, and specialise in audits and charities. I enjoy all aspects of my role and meeting with a range of clients. I am always looking for new clients to help and support, or to take away the paperwork burden!!
When I’m not at work I love nothing more than spending time with my family, my young daughter manages to keep me on my toes!! If I ever get a minutes peace I love a good book and watching F1, team Lewis!!!

Julie Gladman
Consultant
I joined Hayhow & Co in 1985 after relocating from Yorkshire and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1990.
I became managing partner in 1995.
I have a large client portfolio covering all types of businesses and indivduals. I specialise in audits, charities, trusts and taxation.
When I am not working I spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy making confectionary and walking.

Karen Wales – Payroll Manager
I became Payroll Manager in 2010 when I joined Hayhow & Co. I am responsible for all aspects of Payroll including weekly, fortnightly, 4 weekly and monthly pay schedules, as well as Contractor Monthly Returns and all aspects of CIS. With Auto-enrolment now coming into force, please contact me if you have any queries at all regarding your legal requirements.

Michael Pearson – Senior Accountant
I joined Hayhow & Co in October 1983 following 4 years with one of the Big 8. My roles include all aspects of company accounting, personal taxation and trusts. I love all sport (mainly watching these days) and I have been an annual member of Newmarket Racecourses for 23 years and regularly attend meetings at Ascot.
I also enjoy cooking and drinking wine. I have been a school governor for 7 years and I act as Chairman of the school Staffing and Finance committee.
Lorraine Bussens – Bookkeeper
I started working for Hayhow & Co as a Part Time Bookkeeper in March 2021. I carryout bookkeeping, VAT Returns, Salaries and MGD Returns for a various range of clients.
I have worked in Finance and Operational Management in the Charity Sector for over 30 years, but now thoroughly enjoy working part time in Practice.
In my spare time I spend love walking my dogs, reading and spending time with my family and friends.
Grace Steward - Receptionist
I joined Hayhow & Co in July 2025 as a Receptionist shortly after completing my A-Levels at Springwood Sixth form.
I took on the role to gain valuable insight of the roles and processes carried out, which will hopefully aid me into a long-term career in this industry.
Alongside this, I am a hairstylist which I do on weekends and evenings. In my spare time, I love to spend it with my family and friends.
Cassie Barlow – Senior Accountant
After completing Level 3 and Level 4 AAT, I went on to study ACCA. This helped me to qualify as a Certified Chartered Accountant in March 2024. I joined Hayhow & Co in August 2025 to further my knowledge and progress in my career in an accountancy practice.
Outside of work, I enjoy walking my dog, spending time with friends and family and eating Chinese. I also love listening to music & going to concerts - my favourite artist is Chris Brown!
I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of my job but I particularly enjoy meeting new people and creating relationships with the clients!
Ryan Howard – Accountant
I joined Hayhow & Co in November 2025 as a bookkeeper/accountant. I am currently studying level 4 AAT with ambitions to progress further and become fully chartered.
My role includes completing accounts, tax returns, VAT returns and bookkeeping for a range of clients.
Outside of work I like to travel and visit new places as much as I can. I like to play football and try to enjoy watching it; however, I have the misfortune of being a Tottenham fan. I also enjoy going to the gym and spending time with friends and family.
